In a time of rapid technological change and emerging crises, Research and Innovation (R&I) are increasingly mobilised to find solutions to interconnected and complex global challenges, boost growth, accelerate the green transition, reduce poverty and shift the world onto a sustainable and resilient path.
Through this illustration contest, the OACPS R&I Programme aims to highlight digital visual representations of research and innovation made by the general public, in order to showcase a wide range of perspectives from African, Caribbean and Pacific countries and to raise awareness of R&I as vital drivers of sustainable development.
Amateurs or professionals, you are invited to illustrate in a graphic or pictorial manner (original photo, modified photo, drawing, painting, or artwork created on a computer) six key thematic areas:
DIGITAL SOLUTIONS TO EMERGENT PROBLEMS INDIGENOUS SOLUTIONS TO EMERGENT PROBLEMS GRASSROOTS INNOVATIONS WOMEN AND GIRLS IN STEM YOUTH IN INNOVATION COLLABORATION BETWEEN R&I PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SECTORSThe competition will award three exclusive prizes of € 1,500 worth each!
