The Fab Lab EcoDéchets (Ecowaste) project aims to contribute to the development of the waste recycling sector and the improvement of environmental health in Bukavu through the creation of a learning space based on new digital technologies and inclusiveness. This learning is based on a self-employment mechanism through the valorisation of waste using digital technologies in an environment largely dominated by the informal sector and very little job creation. The beneficiaries will therefore be able to improve their creativity and inventiveness through this project (start-up, patenting, etc.). Thus, technological and digital innovations likely to improve waste management and recovery will be developed through the EcoDéchets Fab Lab by young and female innovators.
This project is one of the third-projects financed by PDTIE in DRC.
