Two cross-fertilisation workshops on R&I project implementation and impact management were organised on 18 October and 10 November 2022 to allow exchanges between former and current research-related projects of ACP-EU cooperation programmes (ACP Science & Technology II and ACP Innovation Fund).

Following the recently conducted ex-post evaluation of the ACP-EU Science & Technology II Programme, the OACPS Research and Innovation Programme brought together former coordinators of seven ACP S&T II projects and 120 representatives from the current ACP Innovation Fund-supported projects (and their related third-party projects).

Speakers from seven former ACP S&T II  projects presented their experiences, challenges and lessons learned, in terms of implementation of  project and related activities, results achieved and valorisation of these results. They also shared their recommendations for best practices.

During the break-out working sessions, participants interacted with them and with each other, elaborating on the following questions:

• What kind of measures/means are needed to measure/manage impacts during and after the end of a project?
• What activities are needed to promote R&I results, during and after the project?
