dga.recherche@mesrs.gov.gnThe objective of the PSF (Policy Support Facility) service is to assist the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation (MESRSI) in developing a national R&I policy, aiming to respond to the major challenges of the 21st century and to make the knowledge economy a vector of sustainable and inclusive development.
The PSF service will contribute, among other things, to
- Identify the structures and actors involved in R&I in Guinea and their areas of intervention;
- Reorganise the national R&I system and its various institutions towards greater synergy and efficiency;
- Build bridges between research, higher education and sectors that can benefit from research results (industry, health, socio-cultural sector, etc.);
- Achieve the UN’s 2030 Agenda (SDGs 3 and 9), the African Union’s Agenda 2063 ‘The Africa We Want’ and the Vision ‘Emerging Guinea by 2040’.
The PSF service will be carried out by an international panel of experts who will actively collaborate with the national team of Guinea and the PSF team (OACPS R&I Programme).
