The DigiMakt project, part of the AGriDI initiative, leverages digital technologies to empower smallholder maize and soybean farmers in Ghana. Using Esoko’s Digital Farmer Services platform, DigiMakt provides timely weather updates, market prices, and agronomic advice directly to farmers via mobile phones. The project links farmers with input suppliers, financial services, and storage solutions, fostering efficiency and resilience in value chains. It also aims to establish a startup for scaling its services, boosting farmers’ livelihoods and transitioning them into the digital economy.
DigiMakt is one of the 3 projects financed by AGriDI in Ghana.
