VaRRIWA: Nearly 02 Million Euros granted to 09 projects in Senegal, Benin, Togo, Burkina Faso to contribute to the creation of an enabling environment for technology transfer and sustainable innovation in West Africa.

The Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie, through its VaRRIWA project, one of the 8 projects of the ACP Innovation Fund, has granted funding of nearly two (02) million euros to 09 West African organizations for the implementation of projects to promote the valorization of research results and innovation.
The said projects were selected following a call for applications launched by the AUF and its partners over the period from June 15 to September 30, 2021.
This important envelope will allow, in the 04 countries of the project (Senegal, Benin, Burkina Faso and Togo), to set up support systems for the valorization of research and innovation results, to develop training programs on intellectual property and the mechanisms of economic valorization of research and innovation results for the benefit of researchers, innovators, inventors and entrepreneurs.
