In the wake of its online courses (CLOM) and as part of the PDTIE project, the Institut de la Francophonie pour le développement durable (IFDD), a subsidiary body of the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie (OIF), has expanded its teaching offer this summer with a series of practical and ecological face-to-face trainings for youth.
These trainings aim to share practical knowledge to support the development of essential skills to stimulate scientific research, while promoting the emergence of innovation and the creation of new jobs.
The city of Goma, in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), kicked off the program from July 25 to 30, 2022, with a session on waste and sustainable energy. It was followed by the city of Edea (Cameroon) from July 31 to August 6, 2022 on the theme of agribusiness and sustainable agriculture, Yaoundé (Cameroon) from August 7 to 13, 2022 on the theme of construction and sustainable energy and Kinshasa (DRC) from August 8 to 13, 2022 on the theme of Phytoremediation, Phytopharmacopoeia and Agroforestry.
