VaRRIWA – "Valorising Research Results and Innovation in West Africa" one of the 8 projects funded by the ACP Innovation Fund.
VaRRIWA is an innovative response to the challenge of valorizing research and innovation results in Benin, Burkina Faso, Senegal and Togo. The official launch of the project will take place on Friday, June 4, 2021, from 09:00 to 14:00 at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Dakar.
The project is carried by the Agence universitaire de la Francophonie, in partnership with :
- L’Agence Béninoise de Valorisation des résultats de la Recherche et de l’Innovation Technologique (AbeVRIT) ;
- L’Agence Nationale de Valorisation des Résultats de la Recherche et des Innovations du Burkina Faso (ANVAR) ;
- L’Agence Nationale de la Recherche Scientifique Appliquée du Sénégal (ANRSA) ;
- La Direction de la Recherche Scientifique et Technique du Togo (DRST) ;
- Sorbonne Université.
The main objective of the VaRRIWA project is to contribute to the creation of an incentive environment for technology transfer and sustainable innovation in Benin, Burkina Faso, Senegal and Togo. The official launch ceremony of the project is placed under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation of Senegal.
