Launch of VaRRIWA-funded projects in Togo

The third party projects funded by VaRRIWA were officially launched the 4th August 2022 in Lomé, Togo, and in the presence of the Minister for Higher Education and Research Prof. Majesté Ihou WATÉBA.

4 entities from Togo have successfully benefited from the VaRRIWA Initiative grant in the framework of the valorization of research results and innovation for a global amount around 900 000 euros.

  • ITRA- Institut Togolais de Recherche Agronomique with the project to create a Unit for the Valorisation of Agricultural and Agri-food Innovations (UVI2A) ;

  • Université de Lomé with the project on Strengthening the framework of partnerships between public and private actors for the financing and valorisation of research results and innovation (PPP-VRI) ;
  • Université de Kara with the project of Training for the Valorisation of Research and Innovation Results in Togo (FOR-VARRITO) ;
  • Université de Kara with the project to set up a Support Centre for the Valorisation of Research and Innovation Results in the field of science and technology in Togo (CAVRIS-TOGO).
