Our first webinar on Open Science, held on 24 February 2022, gave the opportunity to highlight the main benefits, good practices and challenges of Open Science for the OACPS member countries.

While certain forms of Open Science have been accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic, significant challenges need to be addressed in order to make Open Science a true game changer in bridging the science, technology and innovation gaps, tackling global challenges (such as pandemics, climate change, biodiversity loss, etc.), and achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals in OACPS member countries.
