PDTIE – 10 inventions patented by OAPI

The project “Production and dissemination of innovations, and development of the digital culture for ecological constructions and equipment in Cameroon” implemented by the Mission for the Promotion of Local Materials (MIPROMALO) , and supported by PDTIE, has obtained 7 patents and 11 patented industrial models for the innovations listed below:
• Automatic self-calibrating multifunction press for earth products by Carlos Mozer
• Multifunctional solar press for concrete blocks and compressed earth bricks by Nfor Clins
• Autonomous plastering machine by Ze Eric Parfait
• Granulator with stacked grinders calibrating plastic and aluminum waste by Nyame Boade
• Numerical Control (CNC) Laser Cutter integrating CO2 laser and plasma by Teiffouet Feudjo Fabrice
• Eco-responsible stabilization process for Cameroon’s roadways by Sontia Metekong Jordan
• Porous insulating panel in lateritic geopolymer for thermal and acoustic insulation by Tchio Julson.

With the two patents already obtained by ENSAI for the wastewater treatment device resulting from cassava processing and its process by Aboubakar Siddik, and the solar heat collection device made of composite tubes with adsorption in a venturi shape by Dahirou Boubakary, PDTIE currently accounts for 10 inventions already patented by the African Intellectual Property Organization. (OAPI).

Let us recall that during the mid-term results established at the end of September 2024, 56 patent applications had been filed in various sectors, including agriculture, energy, agri-food, health, and well-being by the third-party projects of PDTIE.
