This event represents the main outcome of one of the 14 third-party projects selected as part of the VaRRIWA project, the ‘Forum MICD-AO: Matériaux Innovants et Construction Durable en Afrique de l’Ouest ‘project, implemented by the Ecole Supérieure Polytechnique de Dakar.

The event kicked off this Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at Dakar’s Grand Théâtre National, and will run until May 31. The forum is a platform for exchange and action, bringing together key players in the construction industry, from experts to professionals, to rethink construction in West Africa. Indeed, West Africa is facing rapid growth in construction needs, raising questions of sustainability, innovation, and reducing environmental, social and economic impacts.

The MICD-AO Forum is a very good and dynamic response to these challenges!
