Mr. Joël Hervé NGUENKAM, Director of Francophonie at Cameroon’s Ministry of External Relations, held the first annual meeting of the Steering Committee (COPIL) of the Project for the Deployment of Environmental Technologies and Innovations for Sustainable Development and Poverty Reduction (PDTIE) at the premises of the Ministry of External Relations on April 30, 2024.
During this meeting, the projects implemented in Cameroon within the framework of the PDTIE were presented by their coordinators, and evaluated by the members of the COPIL. Particular emphasis was also placed on preparations for the Science, Technology and Environmental Innovation Fair scheduled for late 2024.
By way of reminder, the steering committee is a body responsible for overseeing the activities of the PDTIE, assessing the level of achievement of activities and suggesting synergies with policies and programs at national level. The national COPIL is made up of the focal points designated by the technical ministries concerned by the PDTIE‘s issues.
