The 3rd edition of the Semaine mondiale de la Francophonie scientifique (SMFS 2023) will take place in Quebec City from October 31 to November 3, 2023. The Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie offers the French-speaking university community and all its partners opportunities for exchange and networking around a 4-component Program: Political, Scientific, Youth, Cooperation.

This event is an annual gathering of the major players in the Francophonie of science. The ‘Francophonie scientifique’ is committed to developing and promoting all sciences in the French language. It brings together all the key representatives of the education, higher education, research and vocational training sectors in the French-speaking world. It includes public, private and associative operators in their ecosystem. This includes political decision-makers, researchers, experts, managers of AUF member universities and institutions, as well as students. The aim of this annual event is to encourage exchanges between all these players, through concurrent and thematic meetings.
