FAO Science and Innovation Forum – World Food Forum 2022

The FAO Science and Innovation Forum is organized together with the WFF Global Youth Forum and the FAO Hand-in-Hand Investment Forum to advance bold and actionable solutions to catalyze the transformation of agrifood systems.

The week will foster dialogue and debate among relevant stakeholders, ranging from the young and the youthful, farmers, small-scale producers, Indigenous Peoples, policymakers, agri-investors and scientists, tuning in from the four corners of the world, all with one goal: moving the needle for food security to achieve a better food future for all, leaving no-one behind.

During this forum, AIRTEA, one of our 12 projects supported by the ACP Innovation Fund, will organise a side-event  on  “Leveraging multi-stakeholder platforms for resilient and sustainable food systems”

Also to be highlighted, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and Wageningen University & Research (WUR) from the Netherlands are organising on 18 October 2022 an event on their renewed transformative partnership, and how it will contribute to enhancing dialogues across society in order to increase the deployment of science-based evidence on emerging technologies for agrifood systems. In this session, one of the panelists is from the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI). He will refer to the project COHESA, one of the 12 projects supported by the ACP Innovation Fund.
