The objective of the PSF (Policy Support Facility) service is to assist the Kenya National Innovation Agency (KeNIA) in developing guidelines for enhancing technology transfer/commercialisation and coordination of Innovation hubs.

The PSF service will contribute to, among others:

  • Effectively manage the rapidly growing network of innovation hubs in the country;
  • Enable universities, research centres and other institutions of higher learning in Kenya on innovation commercialisation models;
  • Establish an R&I ecosystem where collaboration, knowledge transfer and spill-over effects can occur in order to spur innovation and business opportunities;
  • Promote open innovation;
  • Track the return on investment (ROI) of new products and technologies for better M&E.

The PSF service will be carried out by an international panel of experts who will actively collaborate with the national team of Kenya and the PSF team (OACPS R&I Programme).
