Funded by the PDTIE, the Centre de Recherche et d’Innovation technologique en Environnement et en Sciences de la Santé (CRITESS) at the University of Kinshasa (DRC) has been implementing a holistic approach to combating malaria using innovative green technologies since January 2023.
As the project draws to a close in December 2024, Prof. Patrick Memvanga, Coordinator of CRITESS and Honorary President of the DRC’s Academy of Sciences for Young People (ASJ-RDC), will present, during an online meeting on Zoom, the main achievements of his Center including the development of 13 innovations, the training of 10 new doctors of pharmacy (PharmD) and the finalization of an ethnobotanical survey in the DRC and Congo-Brazzaville on larvicidal and repellent plants.
✅ This online meeting, which will take place on October 18, 2024, is one of the first phases in the launch of the Environmental Science, Technology and Innovation Fair, to be held in the DRC (November 26 to 28, 2024) and Cameroon (December 10 to 12, 2024).
