In September 2024, the UEA Eco-Waste FabLab organised an awareness-raising and sanitation campaign under the theme “All for change and sustainable development”, aimed at raising the awareness of the student community on environmental protection, the installation of indicative garbage cans for sorting different types of waste, as well as raising the awareness of students and agents on optimal waste management.

With the participation of the Mwanamuke Kwetu Congo association (MKC asbl) and the management committee of the Université Évangélique en Afrique (UEA), teachers, students and members of MKC asbl joined forces with the UEA Eco-Waste FabLab to ensure the success of this activity.

At the end of the campaign, they thanked PDTIE and the OACPS Research & Innovation Program for their support and guidance in promoting sustainable development in Eastern DRC.
