The National Museum of the DRC in Kinshasa is hosting this week the fair dedicated to environmental sciences, technologies, and innovations for development, an initiative of the PDTIE.
On November 26, 2024, the Salon was inaugurated in the presence of numerous guests, including members of national, international, and associated organizations, as well as governmental entities.
According to Cécile Martin-Phipps, director of the IFDD, ‘the project came to fruition thanks to our collaborators, notably the OACPS and the European Union, but also through the will of the Secretary General of the OIF’.
The PDTIE addresses the challenges related to biodiversity conservation, climate change adaptation, and the fight against desertification. The goal is to help young innovators, whether they are farmers or entrepreneurs, discover economic opportunities while preserving and respecting the environment.
