The PFVRIESS project, one of the 4 VaRRIWA third-party projects in Senegal, aims to train online 1200 research and innovation actors (Ph.D. students, researchers, teacher-researchers and innovators).
It will enable them to increase their knowledge and skills in the field of valorisation (protection, transfer and dissemination of innovation in the socio-economic sphere, economic exploitation, public/private partnerships, etc.), in order to better economically exploit research results for the benefit of society.
As a reminder, Africa represents 17.6% of the world population and 2.6% of scientific production.
VaRRIWA (led by the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie) is one of the 12 initiatives supported by the ACP Innovation Fund, implemented by the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States and funded by the European Union.
