AIRTEA Project close-out and capitalization meeting.

The AIRTEA Project’s third-party closeout meeting is taking place from March 24th-28th in Rwanda.

The “Strengthening Agricultural Knowledge and the Innovation Ecosystem for Inclusive Rural Transformation and Livelihoods in Eastern Africa” (AIRTEA) project, led by the Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA), aims to enhance agricultural knowledge and innovation ecosystems to promote inclusive rural transformation in Kenya, Rwanda, and Uganda.

The project focuses on empowering youth and women by strengthening their capacities within multi-stakeholder innovation platforms. This approach facilitates the co-creation and adoption of sustainable agricultural solutions, leading to improved profitability and employment opportunities along key agricultural value chains.

The main objective of the meeting is to document and share the knowledge, lessons learned, and best practices developed during the implementation of all AIRTEA third-party projects. These insights will serve as a valuable resource for advancing agricultural innovation.
