11 third-party projects selected for ACP-AIRTEA funding in Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda

This selection follows the call for proposals of the project “Strengthening Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation Ecosystem for Inclusive Rural Transformation and Livelihoods in Eastern Africa” (AIRTEA) – one of the 8 granted projects financed under the ACP Innovation Fund.

The Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA), together with the Association for Strengthening Agricultural Research in Eastern and Central Africa (ASARECA) and the East African Farmers’ Federation (EAFF)– the three AIRTEA project coordinating institutions-, selected the projects out of 112 proposals  submitted in response to their call for proposals. The third-party projects will start from March 1, 2022, for two and a half years.

The AIRTEA project, implemented in three countries (Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda), is supported by the Organization of African, Caribbean, and Pacific States (OACPS) through the ACP Innovation Fund, funded by the European Union (EU).
