The University of Trinidad and Tobago hosted an online webinar to reintroduce the TTWeSafe app and to obtain feedback on how it can be improved.

The app which aims to make the use of public transportation safer, particularly in light of previous violence against women, by providing the means to identify ‘safe’ taxis by the embedded scanning QR codes allowing persons to match the driver and taxi.
