After two intense days of discussions on, among other things:
– the socioeconomic challenges of innovations and green entrepreneurship
– Innovation and research for social transformation in the Congo Basin
– Leveraging networking to develop and finance environmental initiatives
– indigenous knowledge, innovation, and sustainable forest management
And numerous productive exchanges between innovators, supporters, and young people, the RDC fair concluded on November 28, 2024.
The coordinator of the PDTIE , Mme Lionelle NGO Samnick, expressed her deep gratitude to the partners who have supported this project since its launch, in a challenging context marked by the Covid-19 pandemic. She expressed her satisfaction with the remarkable results achieved thanks to the innovators from the DRC and Cameroon.
Initially, the PDTIE aimed to incubate 100 innovators. Today, 151 innovations have come to life, accompanied by the creation of two FabLabs in the DRC and Cameroon, as well as the completion of numerous studies within the framework of research. This closing chapter also marks the beginning of a new one: that of strengthened synergies between two nations, Cameroon and the DRC. A fraternal cooperation that transcends innovations and opens new perspectives for a common market between the two countries.
See you next February, from the 18th to the 25th, at the Yaoundé Congress Palace for the second part of this fair dedicated to environmental sciences, technologies, and innovations for development in Cameroon.
