The Caribbean Urban Forum (CUF), which started in 2011, is an annual event held in different parts of the Caribbean that brings together high-level decision makers, academics, municipal managers, multilateral development banks and related UN agencies operating in the area of urban sector development in the Caribbean, and other urban professionals for policy dialogue, knowledge sharing and capacity building.
The 14th edition of this event is to occur in Trinidad & Tobago on 4th -6th June 2025 and is being organized by the Trinidad and Tobago Society of Planners (TTSP).
The theme of CUF 2025, “Re-Planning and Resilience: The Roadmap for Caribbean Cities,” emphasizes the urgent need for Small Island Developing States (SIDS) to create adaptable, sustainable urban systems that ensure resilience and growth amid environmental, economic, and social changes.
